Ricci's Hoagies: Experience Authentic Italian Sandwiches in Philadelphia

As a Philly resident I couldn't believe that I had never heard of the Iconic Ricci's. Sometimes because of distance people gravitate to well known hoagie spots in their immediate area. I was happy to see a smooth running assembly line ordering where your meat and cheese are freshly cut when you order. The meats and cheese are layered nicely on your roll Ricci's uses Liscio's. This is then slid to the right and a smiling woman put your condiments and veggies on your hoagie and cuts it to your liking. My order: Turkey Ham and American with everything except tomatoes. Everything was so flavorful. I paired it with Utz Dill Pickle chips. When I stop by again I'll buy a full hoagie to eat with the family.

Omg. These are the best hoagies in South Philly imo. My husband and I have been methodically trying every hoagie shop since we moved here last here and Ricci’s is by far the winner. The seeded rolls are perfection. Everything is fresh with a great selection of ingredients. I’m eating one right now and I told myself I’d save half for work tomorrow, but it is impossible to stop eating it since it’s so delicious!! They’ll even scoop out the roll on request. Definitely two thumbs up for Ricci’s.

What a way to start lunchtime on a cloudy Saturday It was my first time trying Ricci’s hoagies and was beyond amazed! The staff treated me like family and provided me a hoagie with decent portion sizes. My only complaint is the choice of lunch meat I chose was too salty. But next time I visit I will ask for low sodium options. All I all very good and wonderful place

Definitely a good bogie. They don’t skim the toppings and ingredients. I went with cash as I looked ahead of time to see how they accept payment. But if you’re wondering and reading this. They accept cards as well. It all seemed fresh.

Always super friendly, and their hoagies are incredibly good. I love a classic turkey and sharp provolone but their Italian hoagies are also delicious. They use Liscio’s bread so they’re not messing around. Love this place.

AN INSTITUTION. Finally made my way here after two years living in Philly. I had the regular Italian and it was prettyyyyyy dang good. I’d also like to call out the fantastic service. Everyone was very pleasant even though they were very busy. Fast too! Will be stopping by again soon.

Ricci’s Hoagies certainly lives up to the hype! I’ve heard great things about this place and as a South Philadelphian I had to make sure to try it out finally! I got there about 30 minutes before closing and they only had a handful of hoagies left so make sure you get there before they run out! Luckily I managed to get one and I am sure glad I did. It was genuinely the best hoagie I have had here in Philly. I got the Italian and it was phenomenal. I love how thin they slice their meat, cheese, and veggie toppings. I got mayo, lettuce, tomato, pickles, and oregano on mine. Everything is layered onto the hoagie roll perfectly (which is also delicious) to get the perfect bite each time. They have a large selection of chips and drinks to choose from as well. Service and ordering process was quick and easy. Staff is friendly. I took my hoagie into a Phillies game last night at Citizens Bank Park and enjoyed it there. The hoagie held up pretty well I’d say for being in the fridge for 3 hours after initially getting it and then being put into a bag. You know it’s THAT good if it can withstand the test of time and some traveling and still be so delicious! Easy to say I’ll definitely be back for more hoagies here, absolutely incredible.
